Grilled Chicken

Ingredients:

  • Seasoning:
    • Garlic powder
    • 2 tbsp. honey
    • 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
    • 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
    • Salt
    • Ground black pepper
    • 2 tbsp. sliced basil
    • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slices mozzarella
  • 4 slices avocado
  • 4 slices tomato

 

Directions:

  1. Whisk together in a bowl: balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, honey, oil, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Pour over chicken breasts and marinate for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat the grill to medium high. Grill chicken until the internal temperature reaches 170ºF / 76 °C.
  3. Top chicken with mozzarella, avocado, and tomato and cover in the grill for 2 min. to melt the mozzarella.
  4. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and garnish with basil.
